On Nov 2nd we need to make a change to the back end storage components used for Message Events (raw event data displayed on the UI (Reports>>Message Events) and available via the Message Events API). This change will enable us to improve the performance of Message Events and, more importantly, to isolate it from other data delivery services, including those used by the Metrics API, the app (UI) and webhooks.
For many US customers (not EU hosted) this maintenance will impact the availability of Message Events data - data retention will be reduced from 10 to 7 days beginning on Thursday, November 2nd (on this day Message Events will not include data prior to Oct 26th 21:00 UTC). Each day after Thursday, an additional day of data will be available until a full 10 days is reached again by Monday, November 6th.
Note: The Message Events API will be available during this maintenance.
