Monitoring

Due to a widespread DNS denial of service attack affecting websites and services around the world (more details at https://www.dynstatus.com/incidents/nlr4yrr162t8), some requests to our billing service may be intermittently unavailable, making it difficult to change your plan or billing details. Note: This issue is not affecting our services directly (i.e. you can still use SparkPost to send emails as usual, etc). Transmissions and webhook batches that are sent to affected domains may temporarily fail and be re-queued for later delivery.

Additionally, any customer hosting DNS with Dyn may see authentication failures (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) if the receiving mailbox providers are unable to resolve DNS records at that time, temporarily affecting deliverability for those messages. Our independent tests show this is an intermittent issue.

We'll update again when we have word that these DNS issues have been resolved.
