To ensure our platform is fully optimized for the high-volume Black Friday period, we’ll be performing scheduled maintenance on our sending domains database cluster in our US region starting at 22:00 EST on November 24. The expected duration is less than five minutes, though the full window is reserved as an abundance of caution.
*What to Expect* During this window, the Sending Domains API will be temporarily unavailable. If you attempt to manage sending domains during this time, you may see an error, simply retry the request after maintenance is complete.
*Sending & Delivery* Your ability to send and deliver messages should not be impacted. We expect most active senders to experience no interruption at all, and mail flow will continue as normal for domains already in regular use. If you do encounter a send or injection error during the window, it is safe to wait briefly and retry the send, following our best practices for handling 5xx responses: https://support.sparkpost.com/docs/tech-resources/smtp-rest-api-performance
